The snow layed in my grandparents drive way for Christmas supper like we do every year around six o'clock its pitch black out but the street light are beautifly shining to help see through the fog drifting on by. My grandparents house is very cozy as a wreath hangs on the outside of the white door when you first step in the house you see a huge snowman that is always there on Christmas ever since us kids have been little it's so nostalgic walking in and seeing it it reminds me of when I was little. The rich smell of turkey and stuffing and freshly baked cookies made me super exited and reminds me of how hungry I am. My grandparents always have a warm smile on there face and are always so welcoming and offering us stuff to drink. The decor on the table caught my eye as its decorated so well and the food is all around the counter as we sat down and ate this tasty meal we talked about memories and stories from past Christmas which really make me smile as the stuffing tastes so good in my mouth that's definitely my favourite thing we all cheered as glasses clung together knowing this was a great day ever since the morning and even tell now. After supper my stomach felt so full we all moved to the living room and exchanged the last set of gifts from my grandparents. I got this amazing curling iron I wanted which really made my whole day better. After we open gifts we stay for awhile and exchange laughs and my parents drink with my family and start getting kinda funny and us kids just drink pop which we are definitely not complaining about. It was definitely fun this evening at my grandma's house as we slowly said our good buys but it takes a thousand years to actually leave with all our parents yapping and talking even tho we said we were gonna leave 30 minutes ago this always happens at this point im just expecting it. We finally got out of the door and got in the very cold truck and shivering as we wait for it to warm up.
