The smell of coffee lingers around my house at around seven in the morning on Christmas. The warmth hits me as my warm fuzzy socks and my grinch pjs are on with my favorite red plaid blanket sitting tightly on my lap watching the pretty ornaments dangle from the trees with gifts below waiting to be opened. The sound of my siblings screaming and the Christmas music collides together bringing so much nostalgia as we wait for our parents who are putting our traditional breakfast in the oven. Wifesaver with a hint of crispy bacon filling the air, wishing I could eat some right now, the excitement flings by me as we are all shaking with anticipation and knowing that it's gonna be an amazing day. Even if it is pitch black and freezing cold out the window with frost trailing its way in from the window seeing the reflection of our beautifully decorated homes. Wrapping paper flings by me as we all open gifts together. We all expressing our gratitude and there are so many smiles all through the house. We always love looking at all the amazing things and gifts all our family gets us. There really is a sense of happiness all around with everyone being happy and staying all cozy warm with the fireplace going radiating a lot of heat around us. Spending time together as one big family its the most happiest time of the year thats one thing me and my siblings definitely agree on.
