Good weather
Finished 2.30pm
Great effort all age groups! Everyone finished their race!
Children spectating had a much better view with different year groups observing from different places
Water station pathway
Crowd control was fairly simple - prob due to separating kids out and not too many parents getting in front of the kids.
Water station - shout out! woohoo! - kindy fence
Seating arrangements were excellent-positioning of chairs.
Year 1, Year 2 -take children back to class
Good parental support
Cones pathway in 2 colours for finishers/Y7-8's 2nd lap?
Very irate parent - rude to Staff (at the organisation of the Y6 boys race)
Mix up direction of the Y5 boys & Y6 boys (Sally to put Y5-8 teacher there)
Marshals need fluorescent vests & possibly flags
Need more marshals: 2 between 12 & 13, also near rugby posts
No. 8 needs a teacher who knows the Y5,6,7,8 boys & girls
Parents / Parents with strollers/ teachers blocking view of race for little kids - have a place for viewers / fan zones
pathway for chldren coming back into lines after drinking water clashing with Toni who was taking runners for next race- maybe a different route nextime - where to put the water station? Station next to Kindy fence.
No house names, chants
Y7-8 pace runners need to run faster (needed 6 instead of 4 Y7-8's for lead the Y3's too)
Group Y8 boys jogged together (could've finished in better positions individually)
Y8 boys: Sione, Taniela, Brandon, Leka...
Office staff busy with chn needing First Aid- Good job Lorene
Maybe there needs to be more 7-8 pace runners instead of using the same ones.
Ask Te Wananga & Tamaki College as marshals
No sausage sizzle - already done on the first date (when it rained)
