We have an obligation to hold a cultural performance at regular, declared intervals, that enables the inclusion of every child and participation and support of Whanau/Aiga

Until now we have done this bi-annually, with a Production in the odd year and a Culture Fest in the even year.

As the school has grown and we have found ourselves participating in an increasing number of out of class activities, staff are finding a real tension between genuine and actual hours of instruction and other high quality programmes that take time away from foundational curriculum learning. All of these things are good things, but we obviously need to find new ways of prioritising and managing.
