Ms. Kazalas

 Hello, my name is Mrs. Kazalas and I am thrilled to be the full time School Social Worker at P.S. 214. I feel so lucky to have the opportunity to pursue my passion of Social Work here.  I bring with me seven years of experience supporting individuals and families.  I earned my Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Queens College and my Master of Social Work from Touro Graduate School.   

Over the past five years I have worked closely with District 25 strengthening community relationships, increasing parent engagement, educating families, staff, and youth on mental health related topics and creating referral pathways to care. It is with gratitude that I continue this work with this school community.   

I am committed to encouraging, supporting, and empowering our students to become their best selves.
