Ms. Decesare

I began my career working for the Nassau County Mental Health Association in a group home for severely autistic children. At the same time, I was also employed by Nassau B.O.C.E.S as a substitute Assistant Teacher, while attending college full time. I attended F. I. T. as a part time student for several years after my daughter was born. When I returned in 1997, I worked for Warner Chilcott, as a pharmaceutical sales representative.  Eventually, I was promoted to regional sales trainer, and remained in that field until 2013. At that point, I returned to school attending Queensborough College as a full time student, while running a restaurant in Whitestone.  I began working for the N.Y.C. Department of Education as a paraprofessional last September. I am also currently attending an online university, Western Governors University, pursuing my bachelors degree in a dual major of special/ general education.
