lisa Cohen

My name is Lisa Cohen.  I am happy to introduce myself as the school counselor here in my home away from home, P.S. 214 Q.

I grew up out on Long Island and went to The Wheatley School and attended Rider College.  After receiving my degree there I went on to C.W. Post - LIU to receive my first Master's Degree in School Counseling and then to Hofstra University where I received my second degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. 

I am really enjoying my role in encouraging all children to strive for their personal best.  I am thrilled to be working with the students, teachers, administrators, and parents whom I so highly regard. 

In my spare time, I spend time with my husband and chase my son, Noah around.
