Ms. Groll

My name is Ms. Groll and I am very excited to start my teaching career in the DOE at PS 214!  I have previously worked at a Catholic School for four years, so this is my fifth year teaching.  I received a Bachelors Degree in Childhood Education (1-6) at St. Francis College.  I also received my Masters Degree in General and Special Education (1-6) at the College of Mount Saint Vincent.  I love to build close relationships with my students so they know I am always there to support and guide them.  One of my goals is to create a classroom community where children feel welcome, safe, and excited to learn!

When I am not teaching, I like to travel to new places, especially places that have oceans and lakes so I can swim.  I love to find new hobbies that way I am always learning something new.  My favorite hobbies are learning calligraphy, exercising daily, and learning how to speak Italian
