I was inspired by DJ Marshmallow. I use aluminum foil and some sequins to decorate the box and use lights and music to pretend I am in the club.

Mask

I was inspired by the ancient Chinese mask. I use the organza to make the mask, and also I add one pocket on it. We can put some flowers or leaves in the pocket to get the scent.

Altar

For my altar project, what I want to do is to keep scent from my life. So I choose to make a fruit book. The flavor from all the different fruits and vegetables made me want to know what they smell like when mixing. Fresh fruits are not easy to store, so I decided to dry them out and make fruit paper. I cut them into thin slices and dry them using the microwave in high energy for 1 minute. To do this action until all the water in the fruit is extracted. Then put the piece into the newspaper and let them dry for two or three days. I choose orange, lemon, apple, cucumber, apple, eggplant, kiwi, lime, and pineapple to do this project. The reason why I choose those fruits is that they have their own strong flavor, also some of them are very sweet and some of them are very sour. The opposite flavor makes me want to mix them together to see the result.

Based on the fruit's color I choose is yellow and green, so the fabric I use is yellow organza. The yellow organza has a level of transparency and the provision of fresh air between two-piece. I leave the book's top side open; that is because I want the audience to take the fruit piece out and line the order by themself, they can choose the flavor and the scents.

The definition of sanctuary means that a place can protect me, make me feel safe. So I was thinking about in which way that I can feel safe. In the end, I choose to cover my head. Because the most important part of the body is the head, we can not live without a head. That makes me decide to make a helmet.

I continue the theme of the book, and the treehouse and the camera inspired me. The windows on the treehouse can be seen as a lens out of the camera. It is a small window that allows you to see what is out there in the world. I made the lens a book. I choose some landscape view, some flowers from four seasons to put in the lens. I can see what I want from it. When you stay in the treehouse, the house won't move and only can see the same view. You need to go outside to see the different views. But what you wear the camera helmet, you can walk everywhere you want, and you can see the view. Also, you got the protection.

Scent:1g light floral, 1g stone, 1g skin, some leaves

In part 2, I break the camera box because I want to see more views of the world, so I leave the forest for the city. But before I leave, I was preparing some scent can let me feel safe. I still want to protect my head, but at this time, I choose to protect my eyes. I choose to use some tangerine skin and some leaves to decorate the glasses. The scent of the tangerine skin and leaves can bring me back to the forest and protect me from the city. The video of the sound is about when I am choosing and tear the tangerine skin and leaves.
