Wendy

Inspired by Chinese sword women, I created a hat taken elements from the traditional sword women's outfits. I made the veil with laundry sheets. The hat is scented with dark wood, skin, stone and green. The overall feeling is supposed to be breezy and gossamer.

I put video footages I took from an interactive exhibition I visited last year together, with the soundtrack "Faithful servant friend of Christ". The music relates to the idea of birth and new life, which aligns with the themes of the interactive pieces used. Scent formula includes skin, dark wood, resin, and incense.

My sanctuary is a wearable piece constructed from fashion collages I made before. All collages have a common theme which is self, to me, I feel protected when I'm confident about my work, so I used my past work to construct this piece.
