Peel Children's Centre Crisis Response Service

Program Description:

• When a child has a serious problem, the Crisis Response Service can help. Callers are connected to a specially trained mental health worker who will take information about problem and decide what needs to be done. Then, if needed, a specially trained mental health worker will come to visit the client at their home or school, or wherever they are in the community.
• They provide support until other services are engaged in the community.

Eligibility Requirements:

If your child is under 18 years of age and lives in the Region of Peel, you or your child can use our Crisis Response Service

• if your child is having a serious mental health problem and needs help right now, or
• if you are struggling as a parent with your child's mental health needs.

Program Description:

• FMS supports vulnerable female youth who have been involved, are still involved in, or are vulnerable to commercial sexual exploitation across Central Region. The FMS Caseworker provides a strong mentoring relationship and encourages safe and healthy decision making; nurture independence and skill development; and provides connects and referrals to community resources required for success reintegration.

• Female Mobile Support (FMS) provides a 24/7 crisis response and continuum of care to girls between the ages of 12-24 from the crisis stage to the stabilization stage with flexible operating hours
