Working in the shop

We have business partners that are involved and provide support for the program and our students. One of our business partners, Marek Bros hosts an annual sheetrock clinic in which they bring in their professionals to work alongside our students. In addition, our business partners allow us to visit their job sites and even provide job opportunities for our students.

In Construction Technology, you will gain the necessary knowledge and skills to join today’s workforce and begin a career. Students are able to earn industry certifications such as NCCER Core, NCCER Carpentry Level 1, OSHA 10, and even a Forklift credential. This course will also prepare students that want to pursue college and become architects and engineers. The knowledge they acquire will provide a solid foundation that will be beneficial in those careers.
