Week beginning - Monday 9th February 2026
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week Year 3 have turned their talents towards drama. We began looking through the history books and learnt about silent films. The children then had to write out and then act out a short silent film with a 'hero' and a 'villain'. After looking at the history of drama and the different genres this covers, children had to turn their ordinary breakfast morning into something much more interesting. Children had to re-write their morning as a different genre. We had everything from some talking cats in 'fantasy' to children fighting teachers in 'action comedies', a very entertaining week.
