Week beginning - Monday 26th January 2026
Take a peek at all the amazing things we've been learning this week!
This week Year 3 were treated to a visit from local artist, Lindsey Thorne-Large. Earlier in the week we prepared several questions to ask her, so that we could interview her for the biography we will be writing of her. After hearing all about Lindsey's fascinating life we were then able to spend time in the classroom with her practicing our art skills. Pupils began by sketching out ideas that they felt passionate about, such as books, animals and native flags. Pupils then painted bookshelfs with a few books on then and added their personalised items to make a very unique piece of art each.
