Mr Moore's News Update
Dear Parents and Carers,
I would like to personally thank everyone who completed our recent parental survey. Over the coming days, I will be analyzing your feedback to ensure we address common themes and areas for improvement. We are committed to refining our systems to provide the very best education for your children, and your input is invaluable in that process.
It has been a fantastic week for creative and inquiry-led learning. Several year groups have been busy cooking and tasting; notably, Year 4 designed their own chocolate bars as part of their study of the Mayans. Lessons like these bring the National Curriculum to life, challenging pupils to apply their skills in mathematics, art, and DT, while mastering the art of collaboration.
We are incredibly fortunate to have a DT hub equipped with cooking facilities and portable ovens, kindly funded by our PTA. They have certainly been put to good use this year!
Looking ahead, we are excited to invite you into school over the next two modules to engage in learning alongside your children. This was a highlight in our recent feedback, and I agree that these opportunities strengthen the vital bond between home and school. We hope these sessions spark wonderful conversations and inspire a shared thirst for knowledge.
I wish you all a restful weekend.
Yours sincerely,
Mr. Moore

Well done Lilya!
Friday was truly un-parallel-ed as our school community came together to celebrate NSPCC Number Day! It was wonderful to see the children arrive in such creative, digit-inspired costumes—the effort really added up to a fantastic atmosphere. From crackling codes to board games, the number activities were a fraction of the fun we had throughout the day, and we couldn’t be prouder of how your brilliant children tackled every challenge. It’s safe to say the day was a roaring success, and it was great to see everyone counting on each other to enjoy maths. Thank you for making it a day that really counted!
#WakeUpWednesday is a campaign by the National Online Safety organisation. It's designed to help parents and carers stay informed about the latest online trends and platforms that their children might be using.
Every Wednesday, a new guide or resource is released, offering simple tips and advice on how to keep children safe online. These guides cover a range of topics, from popular apps and games to general online safety issues like cyberbullying and privacy. The goal is to start a conversation between adults and children about staying safe in the digital world.
We will upload these guides/resources here every week.
