It's PPT + Budget Season for SY 26-27: Set time for Agency + Site Leadership collaboration // REMEMBER: Online Public Profit Surveys are Due 3/27.
Daily AERIES attendance informs your snack counts/distribution.
There are three (3) CACF Audits per school year.
Two site visits are unannounced and one is scheduled.
If your site does not pass an audit, a FOURTH audit will need to be scheduled.
Attendance must be collected before snack distribution: Field supervisors will check your clipboard.
Meal counts must be taken as students receive their meals. Meal counts cannot be based on leftovers.
Meal changes require a 3 day notice.
When you notify the site based Nutrition Lead (usually the kitchen/cafeteria staff on site), you must also email the listed Nutrition Field Supervisor.*
Inform your Field Supervisor if you will not need OUSD supper due to the following examples:
1) If you are planning on providing food for the program for example of barbeque or pizza party
2) If students participate in a cooking class and will eat the food they cook versus the OUSD snack
3) If there is a field trip that does not require snack (you will still need to follow the proper meal count with students before taking snack).
Snacks prepared for field trips will be placed in paper bags per student and must follow distribution compliance methods to remain in compliance.
*If you need/want additional support regarding your after school snack counts or want to provide feedback,
please include your ExLO Program Manager on any and/or all communication with the Nutrition Services Team.
