It's PPT + Budget Season for SY 26-27: Set time for Agency + Site Leadership collaboration // REMEMBER: Online Public Profit Surveys are Due 3/27.
Direct families to chooseousd.org to make their 2026/27 afterschool applications today!
TABLE OF CONTENTS
The Expanded Learning Office is excited to partner with the OUSD Enrollment Office to make applying for after-school programs easier than ever.
For the 2026–2027 school year, families can apply for Expanded Learning programs directly through the District’s EnrollWise system,
eliminating the need for paper applications.
New OUSD Families
New families may apply to Expanded Learning programs after submitting their school application through EnrollWise. Families will be automatically prompted to complete their after-school enrollment as part of the same process. This ensures a seamless and connected enrollment experience.
Current OUSD Families
Current OUSD families will log back into their existing EnrollWise accounts using their ParentSquare credentials. Families can then apply for a spot in their student’s current school’s after-school program for the 2026–27 school year.
This new process replaces the paper applications previously used by Expanded Learning programs. Making an application does not guarantee a spot in the program. Families will hear back in April from after school programs offering them a place.
It’s important to note that any student who plans to participate in any portion of the after-school program including no cost programs or parallel programs curated by the school day - must be registered for the after-school program through this process.
In alignment with CDE Expanded Learning expectations, any program, club, or activity that operates on a school campus from the ringing of the last bell until 6:00 p.m. functions under the Expanded Learning umbrella. This includes all enrichment clubs, tutoring, mentoring, athletics, and special interest programs.
More detailed information, including training for site and agency teams, has begun and will continue to be shared over the coming months to ensure a smooth transition to the new process. You can review the training schedule below.
For additional enrollment information please contact the enrollment office at enroll@ousd.org. You can always reach out to your ExLO Program Manager for all other questions.
