Speech Recognition
Click the Time widget in the bottom-right corner of the screen.
Click the Settings icon.
Click Accessibility.
Select Keyboard and text input and click the toggle switch next to Dictation to turn dictation on (blue is on, gray is off).
A microphone icon will appear in the status bar in the bottom-right of the screen.
Close Settings
When the cursor is in an area where you can enter text, click the microphone button and start talking.
Speak in a clear voice. The words will appear on the screen as you speak.
Headphones/earbuds with mic are helpful in noisy environments.

Add common punctuation marks by saying comma, period, question mark or exclamation point.
Dictation will end automatically if you stop talking, or you can click the microphone button again to turn it off.
Think before you speak.
Enunciate.
Add punctuation.
Practice (don't give up if it doesn't work right away).
