Navigate to the appropriate folder.
Tap the colorful + icon on the bottom right.
Tap the camera icon (Use camera).
Take a photo.
If the document's orientation is landscape, check the zoom controls. Rotate the device until the controls look like this:
If the document's orientation is portrait, rotate the device until the controls look like this:
If you're happy with the photo, tap Use Photo. If not, tap Retake.
When you see this prompt, tap Keep Current Selection.
The photo will be uploaded to Google Drive.
For best organizational practices, rename the photo by clicking on the three dots and scroll down to Rename.
Organize your notes in the iPhoto app. Choose the one that fits you the best.
Create a photo album - add all your notes to the album
Add a caption, like "notes" - enables you to search for "notes"
Make it a favorite - under Albums, My Albums, Favorites
