My marking period 2 grow was my writing assessment on mental health. I earned a low 80 on this assignment, which showed there was room for improvement. I struggled with time management during this assignment. Because I ran out of time and ended up leaving out important points and explanations. Some of my ideas were not fully developed. The effect of the overall outcome of my response. This assignment helped me realize how important it is to plan a pace during timed writing. Since this assignment I will focus more on outlining my ideas and managing my time better.

My marking period 2 glow was Section 4 of my literature review for my capstone project. This section was focused on the overall smart contact lens and what they can do. My group and I performed well in this and earned a strong grade. We clearly explained how smart contact lenses work and what they matter. Using relevant research and previous notes to support the points. This assignment showed growth in both my writing skills and summarization skills. It also showed that my group can handle complex topics promptly.

My marking period 1 grow was a writing assessment on fracking that I did not do as well in. When completing the assessment I did not include enough information to fully support all my ideas. My response lacked depth and detail. Although points were given some where not fully developed and explained. This made my writing feel sort of incomplete. This assignment showed me the importance of strong evidence and using all documents provided. It also showed me that preparation matters. After this, I worked on adding more detail to my writing and explaining every point that is made.

My marking period 1 glow was my thesis paper on beauty standards. I performed well on this assignment.I presented a clear and focus argument. My ideas were organized and easy to understand. I used resources from credible sources and explained each part. The writing showed strong thinking and unbiased opinions on the topic. I felt confident in the completion of the assignment. This assignments showed the ability to develop and defend a clear thesis.
