Marking Period 1: Grow
The objective of this assignment was to create a brochure advertisement to promote the song dynasty. To complete this assignment I had to do research and learn more about the song dynasty and with my group create a creative and informative brochure to then present to the class. By completing this assignment I learned more about an ancient tribe in china. I enjoyed this assignment because it was fun to make. This assignment is an example of a grow because when presenting I should have been more engaged with the audience without looking at the board.

The objective of this assignment was to write a well written paragraph on a topic talked about in class. The topic was the Israel-Palestine war. This assignment as quite easy to do because it was like summarizing and topic that i already know things about. To complete this assignment I took notes in class, researched, then wrote the paragraph. This is an example of a gl0w because I did really well on it and tried my best.

The objective of this assignment was to write 5 paragraphs on 5 different trade groups. In the paragraphs you were to include were parts about where it originated, how much it was worth, how it was used, how people would get it, etc. To complete this assignment I researched and wrote notes about each trade good in a separate doc and made it into well written paragraphs. This assignment is a glow for me because i'm good at writing informational paragraphs on certain topics.

The objective of this assignment is to read about the Gujarat Trade and answer questions in paragraphs using evidence from sources. This assignment taught me more about all parts of the Gujarat trade and what happened at the time. This assignment was slightly hard for me because I find it hard to read and understand a long text then fully answer questions on it. I could improve this assignment by adding more information and making it more of an analysis. This assignment is an example of a glow because I struggled in doing some parts and did not add full and clear answers.

The objective of this assignment was to write an essay about child labor. To complete this assignment you had to read the article on child labor, answer the debate questions, then create the essay using the information you researched and choosing a side. This assignment was an example of a glow because I did very well. I stated the claims and had evidence from different sources to back it up. I followed the rubric in order to make sure I got a very good grade on it.

The objective of this assignment was to write a paragraph about the Maori people. To complete this assignment you had to listen to a lecture about the Maori people and take notes, write a full paragraph with quotes and citation. I could have done better on this assignment by going more in depth about the people and explaining the quotes more. This assignment could have been hard because I sometimes find it hard to think of what to write about after feeling like I've written on everything important already. This is an example of a grow because it was not my best work

The objective of this assignment was to use AI to create a political cartoon about the cold war, and write 3 paragraphs about it and how it relates to other cold war cartoons. To complete this assignment I put into a caption about AI and the threats of bombing, then went to canva to edit it more and add text to it, then I wrote 3 paragraph about the cartoon. This is an example of a grow because I could have done better on it. I should have went more into depth about another political cartoon as an example to relate mine to, instead to speaking in general. I also should have followed the rubric more in order to insure a proper grade.

The objective of this assignment was to create a presentation about Nigerian before and after colonization/ imperialism. To complete this assignment you first had to complete research on Nigerian to get a better understanding, then as a group, you had to create a presentation of the way of life, government, major events, and effect of colonization before and after in Nigeria, the present it. This assignment is an example of a glow because I was able to do my part and research especially about the way of life in Nigeria, then present without looking at the board.
