Marking Period 3: Glow
The objective of this assignment was to research and create one pager on a woman of choice. This assignment was completed as part of our unit on Women's History Month. I learned about Michele Obama and how much she has done for America and students in school. I was able to add pictures that relate to her life and information about her. This was a glow because I did well on it and included all the proper parts needed to complete it.

The objective of this assignment was to choose a person you feel should be the person on the year and give three reasons as to why. This assignment taught me about Halle Bailey and how talanted she is. The reason this is a grow is because I could have done better on it, especially on my third reason, I should have changed it to something else. Like the other big movie she was in, as a better reason.

The objective of this assignment was to write an essay collaboratively about the topic dreams in hardships in the story "A Raisin in the Sun." Throughout the completion of this assignment I learned how to work together in order to form one whole essay that flows concisely. This assignment shows my strengths as I am good at writing and making an essay flow as one. I enjoyed this assignment because being able to work together to complete an essay is much easier than writing a whole essay yourself.

The objective of this assignment was to read a prompt and answer it, in a paragraph. Throughout the completion of this assignment, I learned how to pick a side and explain it more. the challenging part of this assignment was getting the proper evidence to support a claim. I could improve on this assignment by explaining the evidence more.
Marking Period 2: Glow
The objective of this assignment is to be able to know and understand the words that the speaker is saying. To complete this assignment I first found a song I wanted to explain, picked a few lines from the song, and explained each line. This assignment showed my strengths of being able to explain what something means to me. I enjoyed this assignment because we were able to pick a song we like, and explain it, which was easy since it was a song we already liked.

The objective of this assignment was to write a character analysis essay on a character from "A Raisin in the Sun." To complete this assignment I first had to fully understand the character from the book, then write the essay analysis of them as a character. The challenging part of this assignment was forming the body paragraphs to explain parts of how the character acts and why. I would improve this assignment by having better topic sentences that reflect the idea of each paragraph and a better introduction.
