Marking Period 4: Glow
The objective of this assignment was to color code each DNA fragment in order to create a recombinant DNA. This assignment was an example of a Glow because I was able to color match each fragment and figure out which fragment was good to join into the fragment. Therefore introducing a host cell which replicates and expresses the introduced gene. Overall, getting a good grade on it.

This assignment was to research Alzheimer's and Down Syndrome and create a presentation as if you are a genetic counselor. I am pleased with the comprehensive research and clear structure that effectively conveyed the genetic connections between these condition. To improve, I could have deleved deeper into the case study and gave more information on it. This is an example of a grow because some aspects of the rubric were not fully hit, and I could have done better on it.
Marking period 3: Grow
The objective of this assignment is to study an audiogram case study of a patient and identify what is wrong with them. To complete this assignment we had to know the patient info case study, use evidence from the audiogram to back up the claims, and lastly find out potential treatments for the patient. In doing this assignment I learned about audiograms for the first time. I also learned how to analyze one and what it meant. This is an example of a grow because we could have added more information about the patient and added more to the anchor chart.

The objective of this assignment was to complete panel questions for a panel about genetic codes and bacteria. In order to complete this assignment I had to answer use what we learned about the Zone of Inhibition, and BLAST to answer questions. This is an example of a glow because I did well and was able to fully answer each question logically with evidence. While completing this assignment I learned about Fusarium Tricinctum and what the ZOI is. This was easy for me to do because it was on a topic I study alot about.
