This assignment is an example of a Compare and Contrast essay. The objective was to compare the perspective of the public vs chemist perspective of chemical safety. Throughout completing this assignment I learned that chemists know more about the things that they are dealing with. In terms of chemical safety, chemists will know more about the precautions of dealing with certain substances, compared to the public. This assignment is an example of a glow because I did everything the rubic entailed. I added all APA citations, explained where more sides are coming from and gave evidence to prove it.

This assignment is an example of a experiment poster. The objective of this assignment was to carry out a crystal experiment and explain it, similar to a lab report but in a poster format. I enjoyed this assignment because I was able to do a physical experiment at home. This assignment is an example of a grow mainly because of how my experiment turned out. I was not sure if I did the experiment incorrectly but the crystals did not form big and it took some time just for the ones that did appear to show.
Marking Period 2: Glow
The objective of this assignment is to use wavelength, frequency, and speed of light equations to answer questions on light waves. Also to use videos and articles to understand a document. This assignment is an example of classwork/ homework. To complete this assignment you had to understand light waves, use the correct equation, and answer questions. I did well on this assignment because I was able to use the correct equations, substituting the correct values to get to the answer. This assignment is an example of a glow because I got a 100 on it.
Marking Period 2: Grow
The objective of this assignment is to use concepts you learned on light wave and energy equations to find values and answer questions. This assignment is an example of an quiz. To complete this assignment you had to use what you remembered. This assignment is an example of a grow because on the first question, I forgot to convert 470 nm to m, so I ended up with the incorrect exponent value. To better this assignment next time I would do more practice problems and re read questions before answering.
Marking Period 2: Glow
The objective of this video is to watch a video on how to build a spectroscope and built it yourself. Then to test the spectroscope against different types of lights and see how it performs. After texting it out you had to answer questions on it. This assignment was an example of a glow because, I was able to properly build the spectroscope and answer the follow up questions, earning a 100.
Marking Period 2: Grow
The objective of this assignment was to use everything you learn in this unit and take a test on it. To complete this I wrote a cheat sheet to try and help me and take the test. This is an example of a grow because I could've done better, if I remembered certain factors of the test and worked harder, I would have gotten a way better grade. The parts I messed up in the most were questions about certain parts of the periodic table, I need to memorize it better.
Marking Period 3: Grow
The objective of this assignment was to pick out a molecule and create a 3D model to show it. I did well on this assignment but I still feel I could have made it more accurate to the actual thing. The angle were a little off and dimentions were off. To complete this assignment I had to select a molecule, research how it looks and using items from home, create a 3D model. Overall, I could have done better, even though I did well on it, just adding little details could have made a better difference.
Marking Period 3 Glow:
The objective of this assignment was to use what we previously learned about finding molar mass to answer questions for a quiz. This assignment was fairly easy as finding molar mass is just addition and some multiplication. Once you learn it in class, it straight forward. This quiz also included a coversion question which we also learned, which was easy to figure out. Overall, I think I did good on this assignment.
