Hi Ty! I think it's awesome that you lived in Memphis before. Have you been to Graceland? I'm a big Elvis fan! I've been there once and would love to go again. Anyways, I would like to have a student-centered classroom mainly because I will be working with K-3 but I appreciate you sharing that a teacher-centered classroom will work best for you because like you said, there is no right or wrong way. I like how you provided the skills you want your students to leave your classroom with, in your teaching philosophies. You incorporated research, public speaking, and cooperation as those skills and I completely agree. Sometimes I still struggle with research, but it is something that takes a lot of practice. I dislike public speaking a lot lol, but it is very important. I took a public speaking course last year and the best advise my professor gave me was that you feel more nervous than you look, nobody is paying that close attention to you.  -Auburn Fowlkes
