Merry Dairy Fundraiser

OLW Raffle Basket Fundraiser

One of the most loved parts of our End of Year Fun Fair is back, our themed raffle baskets!

The OLW End of Year Fun Fair will take place on Friday, June 12, 2026, and Parent Council is excited to once again bring back this favourite tradition for our school community.

Each classroom has been assigned a fun theme, and families are invited to donate items to help build their class basket. Parent Council will collect and assemble the baskets for the Fun Fair.

Donation deadline: Friday, May 29, 2026

Please ensure all food items are nut-free.

All proceeds from the raffle baskets will support Parent Council’s future playground initiative for OLW students

Thank you for your continued support!

Our School-Wide SPIRIT Teams!

Our very first SPIRIT Team Assembly last Thursday was a huge success!  Ask your child what team they are on!

At our school, we believe that learning happens best when students feel a deep sense of belonging. To support this, we are dividing our entire school into "SPIRIT Teams." Each team will be a mix of students from multiple grade levels, allowing our younger students to find mentors and our older students to practice authentic leadership. These teams will meet consistently throughout the year to build community, foster peer mentorship, and ensure every child feels connected across all grade levels.

Our First Mission: The Spring/Summer Yard Activities

Several new materials have been added to our yard, including:

  • Cars and Ramps

  • New Jump Ropes

We look forward to seeing these cross-grade friendships grow as we build a stronger, more connected school community!

Playground Fundraising Initiative

School Council is excited to share that we are working toward a new playground structure for our Grade 1–6 students.

Over the years, thanks to your support, we’ve been able to organize school events and fund initiatives such as student activities, graduation support, Chromebooks, and outdoor equipment. Now, we’re taking on our biggest project yet. This is a large goal, and we’ll be working together as a community through fundraising events and initiatives over the coming months and years.

We’d love for you to follow along and support:

If you’re interested in getting involved or have ideas to share, we’d love to hear from you!

Thank you for your continued support in helping us build something special for our students.
