Mission Summary: This will be the final flight of the Saturn V. Skylab will take flight aboard a modified Saturn V. The mission profile will go as follows. At T-8 seconds main engine start occurs. Once engines are full power the launch command will be issued and the ascent sequence starts. The pitch profile will be the same as the standard Saturn V. The first stage will burn out near the end of the ascent and the second stage will bring it to a circular orbit. Once the station is deployed and the stage separated the telescope module will be be relocated to its proper location and solar panels extended. Then the mission is officially finished.
