The Gemini program consisted of a total of 5 missions, two orbital flights with Gemini, and three Gemini-Agena missions. The purpose of the two orbital missions were simple tests and general purpose. The Gemini-Agena missions actually saw two vehicle dock together in orbit, this paved the way for future missions.
