Open Letter to Readers of this Site

Dear Readers,

Hello and welcome! This site is a place to share some of the persuasive letters recently written in English class by Year 9 students at NIST International School in Bangkok, Thailand.

However, most of the students have taken on different roles, audiences, and purposes, so the letters are not all from the point of view of middle school students.

The topics discussed are often controversial and some of the persuasive techniques attempted might involve emotional appeals, but hopefully none of these rhetorical exercises will be upsetting to you, even if you disagree with them.
