Important Info for the Week:
100th Day of School - Friday, Feb. 3rd
Our 100th day of school will be on February 3rd. It is one of kindergarten’s biggest celebrations of the year! This day is filled with all kinds of fun activities centered around the number 100.
As part of the celebration, we are asking each child to bring a collection of 100 items in an empty water bottle (we will not be providing the water bottle). The collection of items should all be the same. For example, 100 paper clips, dried beans, grains of rice, rocks, buttons, pom-poms, beads, marbles, cotton balls, bells, toothpicks, Q-tips, rubber bands, coins, etc. The possibilities are endless! Please label the bottle with your child’s name.
***Suggestion for at-home counting – group items by ten to find out how many groups of 10 will be necessary to reach 100 items.
Please let us know if you have any questions.

Next week, we will be studying how things move and we will be making Rube Goldberg machines. Not sure what a Rube Goldberg machine is? See the link for an example- http://bit.ly/RGDONATIONS.
