Important Info for the Week:
A Note from our Principals:
Kindergarten has been given several compliments for their bus behavior. These compliments have come from our bus drivers who take them to and from school each day as well as the bus drivers who drove them to the museum on Wednesday. We are very proud of our Lions and just wanted to say:
THANK YOU for being safe, respectful, responsible, and fun to be around on the bus!!
Thank you, parents, for your continued support in helping our Lions be successful!
Progress Reports:
Progress reports will be going home in your child's green folder on Monday. We have not assessed end of year reading level, spelling or composing/decomposing, so those parts will be blank.
Lunch Duty Coverage:
Covering lunch duty is a great and easy way to help teachers, and we really appreciate it! It’s super easy!
Just sign up for a slot, arrive 10 mins before your time, check in at the front desk, and be prepared to help open tons of lunch packages and be a support to the kiddos! Here are the signups:

Spring Book Fair
The Book Fair will be here April 20th - 27th!!!
Click here to see the Digital Flyer
Shop Online: https://www.scholastic.com/bf/lancethompsonelementary
Acceptable forms of payment are Cash, Credit Card or eWallet
To help the Book Fair go smoothly, we would appreciate it if you could do the following...
If you plan to send cash with your child, put it in the first page protector of their green folder, in a bag/envelope labeled with their first and last name, "Book Fair", and the amount of money written on it.
If you plan to put money on the ewallet (explained in link above above) please send your child's teacher a message so we are aware that your child has funds. Otherwise, we may not know they have money.
Please discuss this with them so they are aware if they have cash or funds in the ewallet.
Summer Birthdays:
We want all kiddos to get their day to be celebrated with their classmates!
If your child has a summer birthday and you would like to send in treats one day, please reach out to your child's teacher to schedule a day. Because we have lots of summer birthdays and the last week of school is so busy, we would like to celebrate these kiddos the first few weeks of May rather than waiting for the last week.
Treats must be individually wrapped and nut-free if your child is in a nut-free classroom.
Unfortunately, students are not allowed to pass out goodie bags for birthdays.
What are we learning?

Social Studies - I can draw myself using technology to do a task or meet a need.
