**All Visitors need an ID anytime you come into the building before or during school**
A few reminders for the first day of school:
Please send a dry, healthy snack with your child each day. We encourage you to pack the snack somewhere in their backpack that they can find it easily and discuss this with your child (ex. front pocket). If you pack the snack in the lunchbox, students often get confused on what to eat for snack and what is meant for lunch. Also, putting your child’s name on the snack is helpful.
***Mrs. Higgins' and Mrs. Warwick's class are NUT FREE! Please DO NOT pack a snack containing nuts.***
A sports-top water bottle may be brought to have in the classroom (no drinks other than water and no additives such as a crystal light powder packet). Please label the water bottle with your child’s first and last name.
Please also review with your child tomorrow morning how he/she will be getting home on the first day (car rider, bus, alphabest, walker- front or back). It is extremely helpful if you can have this discussion each morning for the first week or two of school, but know we have lots in place to make sure they get home the right way based on the form you completed at Meet the Teacher.
Please review with your child if you are sending a lunch from home or if they will buy a lunch from the cafeteria.
PLEASE label lunch boxes, water bottles, jackets, etc. If it can get lost, label it. :)
Please make sure your child comes to school with appropriate shoes for PE and recess each day.
We are looking forward to an amazing first day with all the kinder kiddos! Thank you for all that you have done to help prepare them for this next adventure! :)
