Here is update for September.
TWDL Parent Worshop /双向双语家长工作坊
Our first TWDL parent workshop of the year is scheduled for Wednesday, 9/24, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. This year, we are trying something new to better support parents in their learning journey. The workshop will be held in person, where parents can explore Mandarin characters, phrases, cultural elements, program information, useful apps, and supporting strategies through a fun and interactive format.
Ms. Kao, one of our TK teachers, will join me in facilitating the activities collaboratively. We warmly welcome interested parents to participate. You are welcome to bring your child, but please note that childcare will not be provided.
We will be meeting at EML computer lab @ 6:00 pm on 9/24. Please RSVP by 9/20, so that we can prepare materials accordingly.
我们今年的第一次双向双语沉浸家长工作坊将于 9 月 24 日（星期三）下午 6:00–7:00 举行。为了达到更好的学习效果，今年我们的工作坊将以线下形式进行，家长们将在有趣而互动的过程中学习中文汉字、词语、文化元素、项目信息、实用应用程序，以及相关的支持策略。
我们的 TK 班教师之一高老师将与我一起合作带领活动。我们热情欢迎有兴趣的家长参加。您可以带孩子一同前来，但请注意我们不提供托儿服务。
我们将在 9 月 24 日下午 6:00 于 EML 电脑教室 见面。请在 9 月 20 日前回复，以便我们准备相应的材料。
Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration/中秋节庆祝活动
The Mid-Autumn Festival falls on October 6 this year. To celebrate and foster cultural understanding, we will host a Mid-Autumn Festival Fair on Friday, October 3, from 4:00–6:00 p.m. at EML open quad area. The fair will feature a variety of fun stations such as, riddle guessing, crafts, food tasting, legend of Chang'e, and performance, providing our entire community with an opportunity to experience this traditional Chinese festival.
For individual classes, room parents can collaborate with classroom teachers to plan a class activity.Please see the attached flyer and be sure to mark your calendar. We look forward to celebrating with you!
今年的中秋节是 10 月 6 日。
为了庆祝这一传统节日并促进文化理解，我们将于 10 月 3 日（星期五）下午 4:00–6:00 在 EML 校园开放区 举办中秋游园会。
游园会上将设置丰富多彩的趣味活动站点，例如猜灯谜、手工艺、食品品尝、听嫦娥奔月的故事和表演，为整个社区提供一个共同体验中国传统节日的机会。在班级层面，班级家长代表可以与班主任老师合作，计划适合自己班级的活动。
请查阅随附的宣传单，并记得在日历上标记日期。我们期待与您一同欢庆中秋！
