As the ELPAC testing approaches, the district will be hosting an EL Parent Informational Night at James Logan HS on 1/23, which is tomorrow from 5:00-7:00 to enhance the preparation of our EL students for the test. During the event, attendees will gain insights into accessing the practice test system, reclassification, and a variety of resources available from elementary to high school. Parents will also meet and talk with teachers and school leaders for further information to support your child. Here is the evite, please sign up and join us.

In honor of Black History Month 2024's theme "African Americans and the Arts," Union City community & recreation services are hosting a showcase in Art Studio 11 on 2/17. Our school will be joining them in celebrating The Art of Hip Hop and African-American Artists. Students can sign up to perform or submit their work related to the Hip Hop theme or any African-American History themed art by 2/13 to office in any mediums.  Please share this information with your child and encourage them to showcase their talents!
For students' work, they need  to include the following information:
Student's full name, grade level, classroom # and teacher's name.
