TWDL Parent Committee Meeting #2/ 双向双语中文家长委员会会议

Our Parent Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday, 11/14, from 7:00-8:00 PM. During the meeting, we’ll discuss upcoming events and share some of our TWDL performance data. Lunar New Year Booth Activity Parent Volunteer Sign up /农历新年摊位活动志愿者登记

The Lunar New Year celebration is scheduled for 1/30 and 1/31. We will begin with a school assembly from 8:15 to 8:45 in the morning of 1/30. In the afternoon, from 12:30 to 2:00, we’ll host the booth activities which will open to the whole school. The TWDL Lunar New Year Showcase will take place on 1/31 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, and we welcome all families to join us for the evening  showcase.
For the booth activities, we need parent volunteers. We may need around 24-30 parents to help make this event a success. Please check the sign-up form and add your name if you’re interested in leading any of the booths.

农历新年庆祝活动定于1月30日和1月31日举行。我们将在30日早上8:15至8:45以全校集会拉开庆祝活动的序幕。下午12:30至2:00，我们将举办展位活动。TWDL农历新年展示将于1月31日晚上6:00至7:00进行，欢迎所有家庭前来观看。
在这些活动中，我们需要家长志愿者来支持展位活动。预计需要大约24-30位家长来协助此次活动。请查看报名表并填写您的姓名，如果您有兴趣负责任何展位。

Assessment and Report Card /评估和成绩报告单

This is assessment week, and our students are working hard to prepare for and take the tests. Please reassure your child that these tests help teachers understand their progress, so they can adjust instruction to support their growth. If you have questions about what may be tested, please feel free to reach out to the teacher or me—we’re happy to help. Report cards will be sent home on 11/14 /24. 

本周是考试周，学生们正在努力准备并参加测试。请安慰您的孩子，这次测试是为了让老师了解他们的学习进展，以便调整教学，帮助他们进一步成长。如果您不确定测试的内容，欢迎随时联系老师或我，我们很乐意提供帮助。成绩单将于11月14日带回家。
