16th December 2019

Dear Grazebrook families,

I can't believe a term has passed already and that when I write this bulletin next it will be January 2020! The term has flown by and there have been some real highlights. Thank you all for your support and commitment to the school community - together we make Grazebrook great.

There has been so much happening - last week at Grazebrook really was very festive indeed. We had our last panto trip, our Early Years panto, our magical Nursery Nativity, our Christmas lunch and of course our absolutely amazing Christmas concert. What a week!

Please remember school finishes at 2pm on Friday. Wishing you a fabulous holiday and a very happy new year and see you at 8.55am on Tuesday 7th January.

The annual Christmas concert was a highlight of the year so far for me. I was filled with pride watching all of our pupils perform with such passion and commitment. They way they had learnt their songs, their dance moves, kept a smile on their faces and sang their hearts out was a real treat on a gloomy Friday 13th - way to go to cheer us all up!

A massive thank you to our incredibly talented and dedicated music team. Their energy and entusasism was infectious and had us all on our feet too. Their tireless commitment to music at the Federation ensured that we really did take the roof off.

Early Years Festivities

Our youngest pupils surely know how to get into the Christmas spirit! They throughly enjoyed their visit from Bigfoot Panto who bought Jack and the Beanstalk to life in our hall. Smiles and laughs were had all round. Once again, a huge thank you to our PSA who make it all possible with their generous support for the school.

Our Nursery Nativity was another highlight of the season - they performed so well, were loud and clear with all their lines and songs and had the whole audience with goosebumps of pride. Great job Nursery!

We couldn't mention Christmas without our wonderful Reception concert too. They sang so beautifully - it is clear how hard they have been practising with our music team. Not a dry eye in the house.

Festive Feast

Our eagerly awaited Christmas lunch was a real hit. We decked out the hall, put some festive music on and shared a feast. The hall was filled with the sound of laughter from our cracker jokes and we all had a jolly good time.

Our catering team served up an incredible menu - thank you for all your hard work making it such an enjoyable day. Thank you also to our parent governor Matthew Jeary for helping to serve the sprouts!
