Design - Model - Make
Course Content: Students will apply the design process to create innovative solutions to problems and challenges. Students will learn to use and implement sketching techniques, engineering drawing, measurement, and 3D/CAD modeling tools. Students brainstorm, research, develop ideas, create models, test and evaluate design ideas, and communicate solutions. Activities may include air skimmer, 3D printing, CO2 cars, and much more.
*Student Cost: $10 for lab activities
Open to: Grades 7 & 8
Length: 1 semester/every other day
