Creative Chef 

Open to:  Grades 7 & 8

Length:  1 semester/every other day 

This course will offer students the opportunity to improve food preparation skills, explore foods around the world, apply basic science principles to food preparation, and discover opportunities in the foodservice industry. We will use these skills during hands-on labs to cook a variety of recipes. Students will also learn about career pathways related to nutrition, food science, culinary and hospitality industries, and health related occupations.

There is a $5.00 class fee.
