Local Scholarship Information and Timeline

The Local Scholarship Application becomes active in February of a student's senior year.  The application closes in March and scholarship and award decisions are released the week prior to graduation. Thanks to the generosity of many local businesses, organizations, families, committees, and individuals, there are over 80 scholarships covered by this application.  We hope all seniors consider applying for the scholarship(s) where they fit the scholarship description(s).

For greater details on applying to the Local Scholarships, please see below.

Local NHS Scholarship Information (2-1-23)

Hello Seniors!

Thanks to the generosity of many local businesses, organizations, families, committees, and individuals, there are over 80 scholarships available using our local scholarship application.

The Local Scholarship Application link will become active on Friday, Feb 3rd.  The scholarship application link will close on March 6th (all submissions due by midnight on the 6th).  We hope all seniors consider applying for the scholarship(s) where they fit the scholarship description(s).

From the above link you may refer to the Scholarship tab on the left for details regarding the criteria and amounts for each scholarship.  Please note that award descriptions are also listed (noted with an early deadline) even though you don't directly apply for them.

Steps to complete the local application and apply for scholarships:

As you complete this application, please note that a number of the questions are asked to determine if you meet the criteria for certain scholarships. Depending on your answers, you may or may not meet the specific qualifications and may be ineligible for certain scholarships.  In each scholarship description you will be able to see the qualifications needed.

You can return to this application as many times as you wish, up until the time the application closes.

The scholarship application will close on March 6th.  All scholarships will be awarded/announced the week prior to Graduation.
