The history of bald eagles in Pennsylvania is a complicated one. Back in 1983, there were only three bald eagle nests in the entire state. Today, PA has over 300 bald eagle nests! These are photos from the beginning of the school year when Covid-19 had a rise in cases. We were required to wear a mask and social distance at least 6 feet. Since then, things have improved. Now, out in public, we have a choice of whether we want to wear the mask or not. Also, the vaccine is now available to those of age who would like to receive it.
In the fall of 2020, we were only allowed a specific capacity of people at sporting events. This meant that we were not allowed a large number of students in our student section. This disappointed many, but as we defeat the challenges of this pandemic, a majority of people probably feel like things will be back to normal here shortly.

Congratulations to the Northern Cambria High School Envirothon team as they have placed 13th out of 58 counties that participated in the state competition!!!! This is a huge accomplishment for the team to have made it this far. They contributed their free time to study for this competition, and it paid off. Also, a big thank you to Mrs. Kerr as she has also put a lot of time and effort into the team and coaching them through this Envirothon season!
