Using a constructivist learning style, our team of professionals were able to effectively demonstrate our abilities to design, implement, and evaluate technology-rich professional learning programs. This unit encourages participants to discover the importance of global citizenship, cultural awareness, digital equity and safe, healthy, legal and ethical uses of technology through an online community of practice. Each lesson allowed participants to research, discuss, and create activities based on the topic of the Global Learning Community.

Personal Learning Environment (PLE) is an important and effective way to stay organized and create a space to share the link with others in a quick and easy way. A PLE is a good example of continuous learning to deepen content, technical, and leadership and management knowledge by having one place to keep important links that will be used daily and can be easily accessible.
This assignment was a part of the final professional development unit, the instructions were to create an activity that would effectively teach teachers about the importance of safe and healthy uses of technology. The topic I choose to discuss was cyberbullying and how to identify and hopefully prevent cyberbullying. I created an activity that had the participants research cyberbullying and then create a poster that they would hang up in their classroom and hand out to their students to show them the expectations and prevention of cyberbullying.
