Assignment: Universal Design for Learning
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) is a tool that brings together values and behaviors to meet the needs of all students in our school systems. In our attempts to narrow the learning gaps for children with disabilities, children from low-income families, and children from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, we fell short. Universal Design for Learning reflects a commitment to proactively mitigating learner variability such that all children are involved in the learning process in substantive ways. Via an exploration of leadership and common values, actions, and quality progress that school districts strive to be effective in addressing the needs of all students, the report sheds light on questions of diversity and inclusivity.

Assignment: Action Mapping
I selected the assignment "Action Mapping" presentation as an assignment that I am proud of because I believe it demonstrates my ability to create content that is user-friendly. When creating this assignment, I kept UDL in mind and wanted to create a description of what "action mapping" is without overwhelming the learner. When I create content, I always make it a mission to put the fewest amount of words possible that gets the content across. I believe if there is too much content, learners become overwhelmed and do not comprehend all the necessary components.
