Digital Citizenship

1. Please describe what digital citizenship means to you?

Global citizenship means to be actively engaged in the digital world and know healthy, legal, and ethical use of the the figital world. It is being able to promote a healthy and ethical use of technology in the classroom and out of the classroom.

2. Provide an example of how you might model and promote digital citizenship?

I would model digital citizenship by showing students all the great things that are on the internet and how we access information within seconds. I would also show them the responsible and respectful way to use technology. I would have signs up around the classroom of appropriate use of technology and appropriate language to use while engaging with others in the digital world.
