My first year of teaching when I was trying to figure out the 8th Grade Portfolio Project, I was having trouble signing off students; reflections. In an attempt to achieve some consistency, I created this color-coded template to help students check off the 4 criteria I personally required for signing off work. We are now using this template as a middle school team, in conjunction with other teacher-generated resources, to support  all three grade levels (6, 7, 8) in the portfolio process.
