Students are working on something math-related at all times
Students get some time to read, play, or study mathematical ideas that are interesting to them, not required by teacher or driven by standards
Math-related activities
Board/card games, iPad games, books, puzzles, extra practice/support pages, extension activities
Students move on to Centers if HW/practice is finished; during small group time when they're not meeting with me in S.G.

Students record what they complete during the month
Points for activities and evidence
Recording/Evidence sheet has evolved over the course of a year
Centers "Menu" created to help students keep track of what they've done

Students get to work in a place that makes them feel comfortable, and allows them to share ideas, make mistakes
