Departments changed to book titles.
Staff and S6s became book characters, with an appearance for all in the Book Bistro in the hall during lunchtime, with a range of activities for all in school.
Drop Everything and Read for S1 – S3 for 15 minutes from 10.10am.

The S6 Book Bistro Team looked for, ordered materials and resources and have decorated and transformed the hall.

The tokens were handed out during library periods for S1 and S2 and were also available from the library desk.
Class 1.6 received their World Book Day tokens on Monday 23 February.

Alice in World Book Day Wonderland lunchtime events in the library and staffroom:
Pupils and staff were invited to Accessorise with Alice and her friends: wear an accessory or dress as a character from the book on the day and/or during the lunchtime events.
The Wonderland Pupil Event was in the library during lunchtime, with an exciting array of events, activities, puzzles and fun. Including meeting Alice and hearing about her adventures.
The Staff Afternoon Tea Party was in the staffroom.
Reading across school during our Drop Everything and Read event meant time to relax, revive and Read!
A bell rang and S1 – S3 pupils and staff were encouraged to enjoy their personal reading for 15 minutes.
