Remember: Math EEs choose YOU, not the other way around (/sarcasm.)

For Science EEs (Chem, Bio, Physics) keep in mind that it is possible to do an experiment or to pursue an EE based on secondary research (no experiment, but you still need data and you need to do something with that data.) MDID students have had great success with both approaches.

It is worth highlighting that a CS EE might not involve any programming on your part. Extended Essays are focused on analysis/evaluation, not creation. It is possible to "analyze by doing," though this is not a guarantee.
