Group 3
For Econ: please note the 5-year rule. This is a significant obstacle, so any Econ proposal needs to be well-researched to ensure that this will not be an obstacle. Also note that Macroeconomics essays often make for poor EE choices (which is unfortunate, since there's a lot of cool stuff in Macro.)
NOTE: A Psychology EE lives and dies based on whether there are enough good studies that you can use as the basis for your analysis. You are not permitted to perform your own Psychology study for a Psych EE.
NOTE: the focus of a GloPo essay should be something that happened during your lifetime. More appropriately, something from the last decade is ideal, with the last five years or so being even better.
Significant conceptual connections (GloPo's 16 Key Concepts) are a MUST.
NOTE: History topics must be more than 10 years old (so, nothing from 2012-2022.) History is one of the most wide-open EE subjects -- go nuts!
NOTE: Business Management EEs are very different from the IA. IB examiners note that many BM EEs seem to mix this up, and students often underperform.
Access to reliable data is important for a BM EE! No access to data on a business means that your analysis is severely limited.
