We would like to give a big thank you to our PTA and all the families who have contributed or reached out to make Staff Appreciation Week special for all. Your kindness brightened our week, and we appreciate all of you more than words can express.

As we near the final stretch of this remote learning adventure, we acknowledge the hard work of parents. We have one more week left of Remote Learning! Perseverance and overcoming an obstacle is equally as important to your child as their intelligence and academic skills. Speaking with them about the importance of finishing strong, staying connected with their classes, and learning how to manage their workload can go a long way in their ability to build resilience and grit. We're in this with you and have thoroughly enjoyed everyone's help at home keeping your children connected with us. Go, Leapers!

Similar to many businesses, the business that prints our yearbooks has experienced slower printing times due limitations placed for their staff members' safety. The 2019-2020 Upchurch Yearbooks have not yet been printed. Therefore, we will not have the yearbooks at Upchurch in time to include in the Materials Pick Up on May 15th. Distribution of yearbooks will likely take place in the fall when school starts back up. For graduating 5th graders, we will send their yearbooks to them. Thank you for your understanding as this delay is out of the company's and Upchurch's control.

When you email Mrs. Mildenberger, please include your child's first and last name, teacher, a description of what the child is trying to do, a description of the problem, and a screenshot of the screen your child is stuck on. All of these factors will help Mrs. Mildenberger problem solve with you.
