Thank you so much for your patience and flexibility as we began our remote learning plan and lessons this week. The Upchurch staff would like to have some spirit days that we can all celebrate together as we continue our remote learning. These will occur each Friday through the month of April. Please read below for what you and your child can look forward to. Teachers are also excited to participate in these days during their upcoming instructional videos!

Our Teacher Librarian, Emily Mildenberger, is our go-to for technology. Please contact her at eamildenberger@mpsomaha.org if your child is having technology trouble. When you email Mrs. Mildenberger, please include your child's first and last name, teacher, a description of what the child is trying to do, a description of the problem, and a screenshot of the screen your child is stuck on. All of these factors will help Mrs. Mildenberger problem solve with you.

Parents, if you are still in need of an iPad or iPad Charging kit and you meet the criteria below and you have not already informed us of your need, please email Emily Mildenberger at eamildenberger@mpsomaha.org by 5 PM on Wednesday, April 1.
- The MPS School District will provide a temporary iPad sync cable and iPad power adapter for eLearning, if the family home, where the student resides, lacks the ability to charge an iPad.
- The family MUST have a student in grades 3, 4, or 5 with a one to one iPad OR a student in grades K, 1, or 2 that has requested a temporary iPad from MPS.
- All family requests without an MPS iPad at home will be denied.
- The MPS School District will provide a temporary iPad for eLearning for students in grades K, 1, or 2, where the family home lacks access to some form of technology such as an iPad, tablet, laptop, or desktop computer.
- If the primary student has a sibling in grades 3, 4, or 5, the request for the iPad will be denied.
